Good Body Pilates Named Santa Monica's Most Loved Pilates Studio — Again!

Well... this is getting a little surreal.

Good Body Pilates has been voted Santa Monica's Most Loved Pilates Studio for the third year in a row, and this year we were also named Most Loved Independent Business.

When I bought the studio in 2023, I never imagined I'd be writing a blog post like this. Running a small business is equal parts rewarding, exhausting, joyful, terrifying, and occasionally held together with coffee and a very long to-do list. So to receive this kind of recognition from our community means more than I can possibly express.

The truth is, we're not trying to be the biggest Pilates studio in town.

We're trying to be the place where you walk in and feel welcome.

The place where instructors know your name.

The place where it's okay if you don't know your left from your right.

The place where you can celebrate a personal best, recover from an injury, learn something new, laugh a little, and leave feeling better than when you arrived.

Every day, our clients show up and trust us with their bodies, their goals, and often their stories. We don't take that lightly.

This award belongs to all of you—the clients who've been with us for years, the people who just discovered us, the instructors who bring their passion and expertise to every session, and everyone who took a moment to vote for us.

It also belongs to the Pico neighborhood and the Santa Monica community. We are surrounded by incredible local businesses, and we're honored to be included among this year's winners and finalists.

To everyone who has taken a class, booked a private session, told a friend about us, left a review, voted, or simply cheered us on from afar: thank you.

You are the reason we're here.

Now, if you'll excuse us, we'll be over here trying to figure out where to put another Most Loved award. 😉
